The Total Entry Fee for Teams participating in the current Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup is $400 per team. Each team shall pay this fee directly to their Club.
The Entry Fees for all accepted teams will be billed (via the NSYSA website) to each applicable club by the NSYSA Treasurer following the Application Deadline.
NSYSA hosted Sports Authority Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup-winning teams will receive T-Shirts and NSYSA Recreational Cup Championship medals.
Team Staff Members shall Log-on to the NSYSA website to complete the registration application.

Coaches and Clubs – The Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup is a great way to introduce your recreational teams to tournament play. All teams that apply will be scheduled for a minimum of three (3) matches during the Qualifying rounds so they will get plenty of time on the pitch. If they advance onto further rounds they will face teams from other parts of the Washington Youth Soccer family and play on fields, and in cities, that they may not have visited before. Registration fees for the tournament are typically provided by the families of the players on the teams but coordinate with your club for all of the necessary details.

There are multiple rounds to play and advance within the WYS Recreational Cup. The sequence is as follows:
Qualifying Rounds: NSYSA (Washington Youth Soccer District 4) hosts the league’s initial Recreational Cup Qualifying Rounds on Friday November 20th, 2026 through Sunday November 22nd, 2026 on local Kitsap Peninsula fields.
Quarterfinal Rounds: After the results of the NSYSA Qualifying Rounds are complete there is a Quarterfinal draw that determines where advancing teams will play their next round. Teams that proceed to the Quarterfinals will play on either their local fields or on the fields of the opponent teams (based on the drawing) on the weekend of December 5th and 6th.
Semifinal/Final Rounds: If a team advances beyond the Quarterfinal rounds they will play at the State-level tournament rounds (Semifinals and Finals) hosted the weekend of December 12th and 13th at Starfire Sports in Tukwila, WA.

Note: All teams who apply must be prepared to advance and travel to the fields required for their matches. For the Quarterfinal rounds this may mean traveling to other Washington Youth Soccer Districts (sometimes more than two hours drive). For Semifinal/Final rounds this means traveling to Tukwila, WA.

All Recreation Cup Qualifier participants will receive NSYSA Recreational Cup t-shirts.

Steps to apply: Select Coach > Applications > Recreational Cup, fill in the necessary information, then click on Apply to submit the team's application
The application will then be reviewed and Approved or Denied by the applicable Club & Registrars. The team's Application Status may be monitored on the NSYSA website (Coach/Applications/Recreation Cup link).

The Deadline to submit your Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup Application to NSYSA no later than 5PM Sunday November 8th, 2026.
Each Club may establish its own earlier deadlines to ensure they have sufficient time to process the applications for the tournament.
All NSYSA Qualifying Round schedules will be posted Refer to the schedules for game times and fields. Schedules and field locations for future rounds will be sent directly to the coaches and clubs for any teams that advance.
